TENEISHA COLLINS (The Interviewer)
Teneisha is a recent graduate from the Black Theatre Workshop’s Artist’s Mentorship Program and developed her passion for acting at a very young age, when she would perform skits for her parents, younger sister, and stuffed animals, At the age of 10, she urged her parents to sign with her first agent. Devoted to her craft, she has most notably trained in the Meisner Technique for over 7 years with the late Jacqueline McClintock, studied at the Dynamic Theatre Factory, through which she had the privilege of performing at the Centaur Theatre in Games, and honed her on-camera technique with Susanna LeNir for over 7 years. Having spent the last few years acting primarily in television, Teneisha recently returned to the stage to undertake the role of Claire d² productions The Breakfast Club. With an endless supply of energy and pep, this veteran cheerleader brings a dynamic flair to every role she undertakes, and works daily to live up to and exceed the goals and expectations that she has set for herself.
GENTI BEJKO (Joe)
Genti Bejko is a renowned, high profile artist in his home country of Albania where he worked in theatre, television and film for fourteen years as a Director, Actor, Producer and Writer. He has a vast experience in acting, in teaching improvisation and comedy. Genti has written six Albanian plays and many scripts for successful television shows and films. In 2015 he settled in Montreal where he has continued his work in film, television and on the stage. His Canadian credits include Paolo De Paola’s one act play Donald’s Affair, the web series Spiro Tsar PI, d² productions Dust by Michael Folie for the 2016 Montreal FRINGE Festival, a short film by Jean Bernard Galvestone and Darren Aronovsky’s feature film Day 6.
ANTHONY SCHULLER (Steve)
Most recently, Anthony starred as Brad Majors in Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, at Mainline. It turns out he likes to dance in heels, and is now doing just that with a troupe at Scream Dance Academy. He played the everyman John in Dane Stewart’s The History of Sexuality, and from his time at the Dawson Theatre program, most notably the Mechanic from Will Eno’s Middletown and Lysander from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Dale Hayes taught him in one of his first acting classes, and he remembers she had him shuffle a deck of cards on stage; but shuffle them for real, she said, because that was acting. He strongly urges the audience to reflect on what they see and hear, and to bring that feeling home, with the intention of figuring out what truly brings them joy.
SUSAN CORBETT (Maggie)
As an actress, Susan studied at York University and has performed in a gamut of projects over the years, including film, television, commercials and the purest of performances, theatre. A newly empty nested mother of two boys, Susan is partly filling the void by returning to her original passion. She is thrilled and thankful to be part of the dynamic d² productions team. Susan also collaborates with her son Jeremy Thibodeau’s Film and Media Production company Rubicon Productions in many capacities. Most recently she developed and played the role of Maria in Rubicon’s TV pilot FUGAZI, now in Post Production. Follow the latest on Social Media, Facebook as well as Instagram. MAX MEHRAN (Mark)
Max has been involved with theatre for as long as he can remember. Max was trained in France as a child, in Geneva as a teenager, and in New York City as a young adult. He recently graduated from McGill University and is now working full time in the theatre industry in marketing and producing. He has been working with d² productions for over a year, working first as an Assistant Manager and later Choreographer, Director, and now Assistant Producer. He couldn’t be more thrilled to make his d² productions stage debut in The Shadow Box.
ALEXANDRA VALASSIS (Beverly)
Alexandra has been an actor/writer/journalist for over 20 years. Some of her film work includes Burden of Evil, Deceptions, and Birthday Girl. Her theatre credits include Sex & La Cite Part 1 and Sex & La Cite Part Deux both of which she co-wrote, co-produced & performed in as Samantha Jones. She’s also performed in, Palace of the End, Rocky Horror, Night Mother, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and many more.
SOFIAN LAHYANSSA (Brian)
Sofian has been part of many projects in film, theatre and television while also writing his own screenplays. A graduate of mathematics, he truly found his passion through art and acting. He has honed his craft by attending multiple workshops and being a member of Straeon Acting Studios for two years. More recently, he had a role in the popular show 19-2 and starred in the d² productions MISERY and in the 2016 Montreal FRINGE Festivals’ Follie’s Folies.
HELENA LEVITT (Felicity)
Helena is a graduate of the Dome Professional Theatre program in Montreal. She was last seen on stage playing the role of Andrea Dworkin in The Waterworks Company’s world premiere production Aftermath; a one woman show directed by Rob Langford and Tracey Houston, opening first in Montreal and then touring to Toronto and Ottawa this past fall. She also recently appeared at Centaur Theatre in Fusebox Productions’ Motherhood Out Loud, directed by Gordon McCall. Other selected stage roles include Alex in Pool (No Water) with Theatre of the Black Butterfly, directed by Gordon McCall, and Eva in Griffintown Theatre’s Absurd Person Singular, directed by Cory Castle. Helena was last seen on film playing Rachel in Son’s of God, on T.V as a mother bound to a wheelchair in the HBO series Funny as Hell (season 3), a social worker in Being Human (season 3) and a district attorney in the film 753.2. Helena is excited to be part of The Shadow Box and to be working with such a talented and creative team.

Though acting has always been a passion for Nadine, she only started taking acting classes six years ago but hasn’t stopped since. She participated in multiple independent and student projects before attending school at the Ottawa Theatre School for two years. Afterwards, she began auditioning for film and television. Her first television appearance was in Bravo’s award winning original series 19-2 and most recently she can be seen in the Netflix series Real Detective. The role of Agnes in The Shadow Box is a new and exciting challenge for her and she is very eager to share her work.
