d² productions montréal is excited to have launched d² theatre ensemble, an independent theatre company showcasing some of Montreal’s finest actors, directors, technicians and writers. Our mission is to engage, inspire, and entertain audiences and to celebrate the power of live theatre.
d² theatre ensemble is a group of individuals dedicated to collaborative creation, committed to working together consistently over time to develop a distinctive body of work and practices. We encourage a cooperative ownership of the art, believing in actors as creative as well as interpretive artists. All members of an ensemble develop a sense of the whole, and feel supported, trusted, and listened to by the group. In this kind of environment, performers can take greater risks and experience greater growth, knowing that the ensemble will catch them when they fall.
